SACA | News | South African Chefs Association retains its Level 2 BBBEE Status

After being verified by Empowerdex, the South African Chefs Association (SACA) is proud to announce that it has retained its Level 2 BBBEE status, missing Level 1 status by 0.00015%. Says Graham Donet, General Manager of the South African Chefs Association, “I am extremely happy with our retained solid Level 2 BBBEE status. Thank you to all in the office that assisted by working with our consultant Candy Tothill and Empowerdex by providing the details necessary for the audit.” The retention of Level 2 BBBEE Status means that companies who sponsor the Association can claim back 125% of their investments into SACA. It is also indicative of the effort that SACA is putting into playing its part in transformation.

Stephen Billingham, President of the South African Chefs Association, says that ““I am extremely pleased that we have maintained Level 2 BBBEE status, not only because it confirms our dedication to transformation, but because we can continue to give something back to the sponsors, partners and patrons that have given so much to us.”
