From 13 to 20 October 2012 SACA is calling all culinary schools and student chefs to get involved in the inaugural International Chefs Week!
We are excited to announce that the South African Chefs Association is ‘turning up the heat’ on International Chefs Day on 20 October to create a week-long initiative dedicated to promoting the culinary profession in South Africa, as well as encouraging student chefs to get involved in charitable initiatives during the week.
From 13 to 20 October 2012 we are calling all student chefs from across the country to get involved in International Chefs Week by purchasing stickers, priced at R10 each, as well as using the week to create their own charitable initiatives.
The money raised will go towards SACA’s donation to a chosen charity, and the school that raises the most money will be namedas the winner of this International Chefs Week challenge and the culinary school will be awarded a R20 000 cash prize!
