Knorr Bouillon Two Onion Soup

Ingredients

  • 130g red onion
  • 130g white onion
  • 70g bread flour
  • 40g KNORR Vegetable Bouillon Paste
  • 10ml Madeira
  • 50g salt
  • 50g pepper
  • 10g bread
  • 5g garlic


  • Method

    Make up KNORR Bouillon Paste as directed

    Onion:

    • Slice onions and fry in butter without letting them go brown
    • When almost ready sprinkle with flour
    • Cook for a minute and de-glaze with Knorr Vegetable Bouillon Paste and add garlic
    • Add the remainder of the Madeira
    • Continue to cook for 30 minutes
    • Put some slices of oven dried bread into the soup
    • Season to taste
