Gontse Moyane ( Junior Team)

Gontse is a 2nd commis student  at Prue Leith Chef Acadamy and gained valuable experience working in her mother's catering company. 

 

 

 

What is your philosophy on food? Eat with your heart and not just your eyes
What inspired you to become a chef? My hospitality teacher at school and I had a passion for it more than anything else.
Globally, which chef do you admire? Gordon Ramsey
If you couldn't be a chef, which position would you take up? Business Woman
Other than food and cooking, what inspires you? Family
What was your worst culinary catastrophe? Food spoiling during transporting to the venue while catering
What is your fondest memory in the kitchen? When you make the perfect puff pastry and soufflé
What do you eat for breakfast? 2 slices of unbuttered toasts, egg with soft yolk and shoulder bacon
