1-Year Social Development Programme
This programme is aimed at helping students from disadvantaged educational and/or financial backgrounds. The Catering and Food Preparation programme presented serves to introduce students to the Food Industry. This programme is aimed at preparing young people for Employment in the Food Industry in sectors such as Hotels, Restaurants, Commercial Catering or Fast Food.

Training & Assessment Programmes for Industry
Since its conception in 1996, HTA has been privileged to be able to take Skills Training, Assessments and Certification to the industry as a whole. This division of HTA comprises of a number of trainers performing On-Job Coaching and Assessments in the learners workplace throughout the South African Hospitality and Catering Industries. This division formats and designs outcomes based training programmes in Professional Cookery for Schools and Colleges, both private and Governmental.

6 Month Patisserie Diploma Programme
HTA in conjunction with City & Guilds developed the 6-month Patisserie Programme to be presented in conjunction with the SCA Diploma in Professional Cookery and Culinary Art. Students will be required to attend 36 additional part time lessons, during which both the Theoretical and Practical components of the qualification is covered.
1 Year Patisserie Diploma Programme
Based on the HTA In-Service Apprenticeship Diploma Programme (Block Release) and Industry demand, HTA has designed and developed the 1-year Block Release Patisserie Programme. The Patisserie Programme offers Chefs the opportunity to learn whilst working.
